NAPGCM CertifiedLisa brings a wealth of experience to SeniorBridge from Patient Care, Inc., where she was previously Branch Director/Administrator responsible for the development and execution of financial, operational, and clinical goals for this large home care agency, and before that, its Director of Clinical Services and Director of Nursing Operations. She has also served as Nursing Supervisor at the Bayonne Visiting Nurse Association, ensuring appropriate care to its elderly Medicare and hospice clients. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Molloy College in Rockville Center and Nurse Case Manager certification from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. She has been a Certified Case Manager since 1993.

Virginia Oliver, Director of Client Services

Virginia has more than 34 years' experience in managerial, instructional, marketing/outreach, and clinical nursing. She has worked in medical-surgical, coronary/critical care, community health, school, and long-term care settings. For 12 years prior to joining SeniorBridge, Virginia served as Regional Director of Patient Services at Metropolitan Home Health Care of NJ (formerly Amserv Health Care), in which she managed a field staff of 750 in 4 branches. Among other previous responsibilities, she was a Staff RN/Charge Nurse in the Telemetry Unit and on the Medical-Surgical ICU at Union Hospital and Nursing Supervisor at Cranford Health and Extended Care. Virginia earned a nursing diploma at the Newport Hospital School of Nursing in Rhode Island and completed a certificate program in Geriatric Care. She is a licensed Registered Professional Nurse in New Jersey and New York and a member of the Educational Committee and Home Health Aide Committee of the Home Care Association of NJ.

Marcie Cooper, Professional Development Specialist

Professional Development Specialist

Marcie Cooper is a professional geriatric care manager and educator with more than 30 years experience providing specialized services to the geriatric community. Ms. Cooper is an instructor at Rutgers University in the gerontology advanced certification program. She has been guest lecturerer to organizations including the International Conference on Care Management, National Conference on Aging, Assisted Living Facility Association and the National Association of Social Workers. She is an Expert Commentator for Boston University's Institute for Geriatric Social Work. The New Jersey General Assembly recently appointed Ms. Cooper to the New Jersey Elderly Person Suicide Prevention Advisory Council. She is proud to be an invitee to the United Nations International Committee on Ageing. Ms. Cooper is currently President of the NJ Chapter of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, sits on the Board of Directors of the Society on Aging of New Jersey and is a member of the Forum of NJ Healthcare Professionals for the Alzheimer's Association. Ms. Cooper is the recipient of the Innovative Program of the Year award from the American Association of Services for the Aging. She has won other national awards including the Distinguished Achievement Award for Best Newly Developed Service from the Society on Aging. She received her Masters degree in social work from Yeshiva University and holds a B.A. in music therapy from Montclair State University.

Adam Zeidler, Regional Director of Professional Relations

Adam brings more than 9 years of marketing and customer service experience throughout the New York area. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Adam held multiple positions at Sunrise Senior Living, and most recently served as Area Sales Manager and Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, responsible for all aspects of the hiring and training process. He also served as Executive Director responsible for overall leadership, management and community success as well as Director of Community Relations where he developed strong community relationships and educated residents and families on programs. Adam attended the University of Miami in Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Motion Picture Production and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.

Sara Sapienza, Director of Professional Relations

Sara brings extensive sales, marketing, and consulting experience to SeniorBridge. She has worked as a Vice President of Sales/Operations for many years in the Lead Generation and Telecom industry. Her most recent project was for Forward Motion Marketing, Bloomfield, NJ a large business information database network . Aside from the marketing experience she has experience in healthfield management to include, Director of Volunteer Services and the Gift Shop at Columbus Hospital, Newark, Director of Admissions/Assistant Administrator at Gericare Centers and as a mental health consultant/therapist at Mount Carmel Guild, St Michaels Hospital, East Orange General Hospital, and Mountainside Hospital. She is a certified Substance Abuse Counselor and Recreational Therapist and a volunteer at Columbus Hospital, St. Barnabus, and Clara Maas Medical Center, and was a missionary in Zambia.

Laura was President and founder of Social Work Consulting and Staffing, Inc., which provided training, auditing, and information on regulatory requirements to skilled nursing facilities in South Florida. Previously, Laura provided similar duties while working as a Clinical Consultant for Progressive Family Care in Plantation, Florida. Laura also served as Director of Social Services at Manor Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Ft. Lauderdale; and Heartland of Tamarac, a skilled nursing and rehab facility in Tamarac, Florida. Laura is a Past State President and State Secretary of the Florida Health Care Social Workers Association, and Past President of the Florida Health Care Social Workers Association of Broward County. She has a BS in Social Work from Florida State University's School of Social Work, an MSW from the School of Social Work at Florida International University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and Florida.

Patricia has had a very diverse career as a nurse, trainer, educator, public speaker, and quality auditor. Most recently, she has worked as a script writer, healthcare consultant, substitute teacher, and childcare provider. Earlier, she had been a professional information consultant at Roche Pharmaceuticals Call Center and for 13 years, a Registered Nurse at Patient Care, MSI, a major franchiser of community pharmacies where she served as Clinical Case Manager, Director of Education/Staff Development, and Director of Patient Services. Patricia has also served as President and consultant at Healthcare Instructional Services and Director of Patient Services and consultant at Express Medical Equipment Co, developing education and training programs and materials. She earned a BS in Nursing from Rutgers College of Nursing and also was a certified Home Health Nurse and CPR instructor.

Lori Stein Kayne, LSW, MSS
Care Manager

Lori is very qualified in planning for the medical and social service needs of Seniors in the community. Most recently, she has been a Social Worker and Discharge Planner at Care One at Livingston, and before that, a Discharge Planner at The Canterbury at Cedar Grove and a Social Worker in the Transitional Care Unit at Mountainside Hospital. She was also the Director of Social Services at Montclair Community Hospital and, earlier, a Pediatric Social Worker at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, NJ. Lori obtained a BA in psychology, magna cum laude, from Bucknell University, an MSS in Clinical Social Work from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, and a Certificate in Gerontology from the Rutgers University School of Social Work, Continuing Education and Professional Development Program.

With more than 20 years of skilled nursing experience, Lisa comes to SeniorBridge from Patient Care Medical Services, Inc., where she was, sequentially, a Team Manager, Cardiac Clinician, and Field Nurse, involved in training and managing delivery of home care services and developed a home care program for patients with congestive heart failure. Previously she had been a Staff Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab, CTICU, and MICU at several New Jersey hospitals and at Charity Hospital in Louisiana. Lisa is a licensed Registered Nurse n New Jersey and is certified as a Health Care Provider of CPR by the American Heart Association. She earned a BS in Nursing from the University of South Alabama.

Starr J. Ramella, Care Manager

For more than 27 years, Starr has played diverse roles in the healthcare system. Most recently, she was a Geriatric Care Manager at Marcie Cooper Care Management and, before that, a Care Options Advisor for CareOne at Livingston, working with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team on care transitions. Starr has also served as a Geriatric Care Manager for Generations Counseling and Care Management and as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Marriott Senior Living Services. Additionally, she has been Director of Admissions at Manor Healthcare and a Social Worker at both Saint Peters and Saint Barnabas Medical Centers. Starr holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Kean University in Union, NJ, and is a Certified Social Worker in the state.

Margo L. Tucker, Care Manager

Margo was a Care Manager at Marcie Cooper Care Management before joining SeniorBridge, and previously worked as a Care Manager and Geriatric Psychotherapist at Generations Counseling and Care Management, where she provided psychosocial assessments for elderly clients, planned care, and offered individual and family therapy to clients. Earlier, Margo served as Community Group Leader of Mothers Morning Out Tenafly Recreation, arranging weekly discussions and speakers for the group. She worked for over seven years as a Social Worker at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York in the Geriatric, Vascular, Alternate Level of Care Units, and in the emergency room. Margo earned a Bachelor's degree in Education at the University of Miami and an MSW specializing in Gerontology at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Social Work. She is a Certified Social Worker in New York and a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey.
